QUEEN of SWORDS

She makes decisions based on her own judgment while listening to the opinions of others. She is trusted by her subordinates and is the QUEEN of SWORDS, the card of a woman who can do her job well. She has the grace, determination, and decisiveness to cut loose with the naginata (long-handled sword) in her hand, yet she is able to live alone without flattering anyone.

It can mean a career woman, mother or senior, or it can indicate the feminine within you. When it appears in the reverse position, it can also mean “too strict” or “hurt”.

As a woman with a sword, I imagined Tomoe Gozen from the Noh play “Tomoe”. The way she wields the naginata in battle represents “the strong determination and resilience to fight for someone she loved,” which overlaps with the QUEEN of SWORDS.
